For more than twenty years, I have been building, leading and growing organisations. From a data-driven scale-up that I co-founded and expanded through acquisitions, to an international impact company scaling an entirely new value chain in the bio-economy.

Today I am CEO of OPUS Cactus® | B Corp™. With teams in Groningen and South Africa, we use the Opuntia cactus as a sustainable feedstock for biogas, animal feed and land restoration on marginal, dry land. Under my leadership the company grew from pilot to a 1,000-hectare research farm, achieved B Corp™ certification and took its first step into Europe with a nursery in Tuscany.

Before that, I was co-founder and managing director of DATANEXT Group, a SaaS group in data and customer lifecycle management. There I learned what it takes to turn a good idea into a healthy, scalable organisation: clear choices, strong teams, solid systems and a sharp eye on the numbers.

What drives me: turning strategy into results. I translate vision into concrete choices and structure, and bring people, processes and technology together to deliver.
